'''Slotwright Yusra Tannim''' is a Gharu'ndim slotwright who stands the fifth bay of [[Drift Network|Assay Row]]'s west wall. She teaches Amethyst, and will not so much as name it until the wall's own order has been kept.

== Overview ==
Yusra keeps to the order of the Row more strictly than most of her neighbors: she will not open her bench, or even discuss it, until she can confirm the previous craftsperson's teaching has already taken. She sends anyone who qualifies through the Geode Field portal to bring back proof of the Amethyst Spire's own trial.

== Quest ==
Yusra's bench only opens to a character who has already been taught Serpentine by [[Ulgrath the Grain-Reader]] at the previous bay. Anyone who has not is turned away outright, with the correct bench named plainly.

Once that prerequisite is met, Yusra asks for one Raw Amethyst Geode - the item the Amethyst Archon at the heart of [[Geode Field]] drops when the field's three Warden waves and the Archon itself are cleared. Handing over the geode:
* teaches the player Amethyst, opening whatever the Amethyst bench governs;
* hands over an Amethyst Hammer, a working tool rather than the sealed, vendor-sale version of the same item.

The turn-in carries no experience, Trade Note, or Class Ability Point reward - only the teaching and the hammer itself. It is a one-time exchange: once the teaching is recorded, returning to Yusra with more geodes gets only a "nothing left in this slot for you" answer, and the bench cannot be re-taught on the same character.

When the prerequisite is not yet met:

Once it is met, on first arrival:

Before the geode is in hand:

: ''"Walk the plain until you reach the spire at its middle, then put your hand on it. It will send the field at you in threes, and when the field is spent it will send the thing that grew it. That one carries a whole geode where its chest should be. One geode. Bring it to me unbroken."''

Offering anything other than the geode:

: ''"That is not the geode. Work the spire until the field is spent and the last thing walks in; the geode is inside that one."''

Handing over the geode:
