Rust-Drowned Linesmen are the common dead still working the anchor-iron line through Rusting Door.
They laid this stretch of Meridian ironwork and never stopped working it, holding the descent in full spiked plate gone the colour of a bar left in bilge water for thirty years. They do not speak and they do not stop; the line is seized, and as far as anything left in them can tell, holding it against anyone come to force a valve is still the job.
