Whetu the Unanswered is the largest of the flock nesting at The Unanswered Rookery - half again the size of the rest, and the one that keeps the calling going.
Description
Whetu is crimson-bodied, with gold wings and a gold neck, unmistakable against the rest of the flock. It is the keeper of the calling: the one that has not stopped, and will not stop, until something answers.
Encounter
Whetu holds the centre of the nest, at the Rookery Mound, with the rest of the flock close around it. There are no scripted phases to learn - the fight is fighting the flock's keeper on the flock's own ground, with the flock still there to back it up.
Drops
Whetu drops no loot of its own. The payment for facing it is the kill tally owed to Aun Tehaura the Drumspeaker, who counts it the same as any other Siraluun toward the 15 needed to thin the rookery.
