Salvage-Broker Bevan Tolliver is the Marketplace merchant who deals in tinkering gems and the salvage bags Equipment Mods are built from, and he prices every single thing he carries the same way: one Trade Note, no haggling.

Overview

Bevan buys nothing from players - he is sell-only, and says as much unprompted. Everything on his shelf is priced flat, one Trade Note per item regardless of what the item is normally worth, which is exactly what he means when he tells you the pricing "took me an afternoon and I have not regretted it since." He stands in the Marketplace's central travel alcove, near the Drift Network portal and the Town Network portal that the Deed-Counter Watari Jun keeps his ledger between.

Used once on an untinkered melee weapon, missile launcher, or caster in your pack, it sets a rending matching the weapon's strongest damage type and adds a handful of extra edge-work, permanently closing that weapon to any other tinkering.	1 Trade Note
Attuned Drift Prisms (one for each of eight elements)	Pressed to a caster's orb in your pack, permanently aligns that orb to the prism's element. The alignment can never be undone or moved to another orb.	1 Trade Note each
Full Bag of Tiger Eye Salvage	A ready-to-apply bag of tiger eye. Used on a piece of eligible gear that has no gear ratings and no mod yet, it adds one random mod at a guaranteed baseline strength.	1 Trade Note
Full Bag of Obsidian Salvage	A ready-to-apply bag of obsidian. Used on a rated item it converts every rating into a mod instead; used on an item already converted, it rerolls every mod already on it.	1 Trade Note

Dialogue

Opening a trade with Bevan:

"Notes only. I do not weigh coin and I do not haggle. What I have is salvage and prisms, and every one of them costs a single note."

Buying something from him:

"One note, one item. The pricing took me an afternoon and I have not regretted it since."

Trying to sell him something:

"I buy nothing. Whatever you are holding, someone else wants it more than I do."

Closing the trade window:

"Mind the stones in your pack. They are patient, but they are not gentle."
