Drift-Touched Olthoi Drone are the lighter half of the brood pulsing out of Breathing Door, gold-touched Olthoi that come through in numbers.
They are the door's steady exhale: thinner and quicker than their Soldier kin, spread across the descent above the pit and the first wave the Spiracle Node answers with when it is worked. Like every Olthoi, they do not speak - whatever passes for their voice is the door's own breathing, not theirs. Their carapace has taken on a dull, drift-touched gold sheen, the mark of whatever the Breathing Door has been leaking into them on every cycle.
