Blackglass Hewer is the guardian population of Glass Shaft, Assay Row's sixth bay, spread through the warren in numbers.
Overview
Hewers are obsidian golems, already dark-glassed in their native form, standing throughout the shaft's close rooms rather than clustered around any one point. They carry no notable loot of their own - Glass Shaft is a harvest bay, not a kill-drop one, so the Hewers are an obstacle to be fought or slipped past on the way to the seams rather than a source of anything a miner needs.
