Patch 2026-08-30 build 7563e018a

Patch 2026-08-30 - the world-event tuning round. Named world-event bosses now size their damage to the crowd and the world announces their arrival and health, the mule vault banks Trade Notes and accepts anything you could hand to a friend, offline experience gains a pause switch, and life drains finally hurt the bloodless. This page covers everything player-facing since Patch 2026-08-29.

World events

  • Bosses size their damage to the crowd. A named boss now measures what its hits actually do to the players present and adjusts itself so the toughest player there survives roughly three ordinary hits. Softer players should still treat every hit as lethal.
  • The world keeps you posted. Global announcements now cover the boss's arrival, its health falling past 75%, 50% and 25%, and event progress every couple of minutes. Reward caches burst with a sparkle when they land.
  • More varied invasions. A randomly composed run now pairs two monster families and always reaches down far enough that low-level characters have something to fight.

Changes and tuning

  • Mule vault quality of life. Selling a Trade Note to your mule now credits its full face value straight to your Currency Bank instead of storing the note (stored notes were nearly impossible to withdraw). The vault also accepts anything you could hand to another player - pyreal nuggets included.
  • /offlinebonus on|off. Pause your offline experience bonus without losing what you have banked; bare /offlinebonus still shows your status. See Game systems.
  • The Geode Field respawns faster. The Amethyst Spire's wave Wardens and the Amethyst Archon return five minutes after they die, down from thirty.

Fixes

  • Life drains hurt the bloodless. Constructs, wisps, crystals and other creatures retail made fully drain-proof now take three-quarters of a normal drain instead of nothing.
  • Multi-shot aims in three dimensions. Multi-shot's extra targets are now picked in a true cone around your aim line, so it no longer locks onto monsters far above or below you and visibly fires arrows straight up or down.
  • Oswyn Cray reads your real Wave score. The Wave trial's paymaster paid from the wrong ledger, telling players with a nine-wave best to "clear five waves and come back". He now pays from your exact best score.
