The World

DreamWeave is Dereth, rewoven. Beneath the map runs a lattice of portals - a living cloth the far-seers call the Warp, and something has gone wrong at the weave. The Unbidden Doors are a traveller's first brush with the drift; The Meridian is the institution charting it blind, and The Drift Network is the hall where it pins the doors it cannot close; far past both lies the Loom. The whole climb is told in The World is Woven. Where this Weave itself came from and why the roads feel half-remembered is told in DreamWeave: A Brief History for Returning Travelers.
